Nursery One (2.5 years to 3.5 years)

Children in this age group mature rapidly in the verbal and emotional aspect. It is within this time frame where children are distinguishing their identity as well as better understanding their surroundings. As such, the emphasis for the Nursery 1s is still centred mainly on discovery and exploration, with a touch of academics, to lay the foundation for their future years.

Nursery Two (3.5 years to 4.5 years)

The Nursery 2 years are crucial in the sense that it sets the foundation for the Kindergarten years. The children in this age group are still given the opportunity to explore, but are now also empowered to take control of their learning and development. While discovery and investigation are still a crucial portion of the children’s learning at this level, teacher-directed learning also comes into place, with the academics to ensure readiness for the Kindergarden levels. Children at this age group are also appropriately introduced to current affairs, such as current news and recent happenings, to keep them aware of their surroundings and the happenings of the environment.
